HARTWELL Stud in Co Kildare was certainly way ahead of the curve and duly caught the attention of the Irish and international sport horse world when they sucessfully cloned their flagship stallion, the late, great Cruising (ISH).

Cruising’s many top-drawer wins included the Grand Prix at Aachen (1999), Dortmund (1999), Lucerne (1998), San Marino (1996) and Wolfsburg (1996). He was the winner of three World Cup Qualifiers: Millstreet (1997, 1998) and Geneva (1998) and a great campaigner of Nations Cup teams including Aga Khan glory.
