MILLSTREET recently hosted an Irish Pony Society (IPS) show in support of Alex Ott, who sustained spinal injuries and is undergoing treatment in Dún Laoghaire. Catherine Healy’s Polly The Pony and Sarah Healy, won the combined 143cms working hunter and judge Sarah McKeever awarded her championship ahead of Mary Corkery’s Stone Haven Cloud.

Anna Wyse’s All That Jazz landed the mini championship after winning the 123cms show hunter pony when ridden by Katie Wyse. Also in contention with a great performance was Uppocott Xotica, owned by Lorna Twomey and ridden by Meg Twomey. The Wyse family also scooped the show pony championship with Changford Leon, ridden by Katie Wyse, with Marie Collins’s Whittaker Duchess ridden by Nicola Dee standing reserve. Changford Leon took the reserve supreme championship. Emer Cunneen’s Chantilly Anchor Man won the the 153cms show hunter pony and judge Carol Adams crowned her the supreme champion title. Standing reserve was Belinda Johnston’s Honeypound Jack the Lad (Sarah Healy).
