King Of Steel fee set at €20,000

THE covering fee for King Of Steel in his first season at Tally-Ho Stud in Westmeath has been set at €20,000.

By Wootton Bassett, King Of Steel won the Champion Stakes at Ascot and the Group 2 King Edward Stakes at the Royal meeting in 2023. The four-year-old did not race this season.

Bucanero Fuerte, winner of the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at two for Amo Racing last year, is also by Wootton Bassett and he will stand at €12,500 next year.

The Group 2 winner Persian Force (by Mehmas) has completed two seasons at Tally-Ho and remains on €8,000 next year.

Amo Racing also has the 2021 Derby runner-up Mojo Star at Whytemount Stud in Co Kilkenny and his fee stays at €3,000.
