Harrington duo
selling online
JESSICA Harrington’s Commonstown Stables offers two lots in next week’s Tattersalls Online Sale, which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Harrington duo includes dual-purpose prospect Queen Of Seduction, already a winner on two occasions and with an official flat rating of 84. The daughter of Mastercraftsman is out of the Montjeu mare Supreme Seductress, also the dam of multiple listed winner and group-placed Taamol and listed-placed hurdler Prepotent.
Denis Cullen’s Beechcourt Stables consigns the consistent performer Zephron who dominated his rivals on his most recent start when winning by six lengths at the Curragh in November. With a current official rating of 79, the son of Ivawood also won at Cork in September and has winning form from six furlongs to a mile.
There are 83 lots in the sale. They include 54 horses in/out of training, nine broodmares, nine two-year-olds, nine yearlings, a store colt by Youmzain and a breeding right to classic-producing sire Aclaim.
Amongst the highlights is the in-form sprinter Beauzon, the winner of his last four starts for trainer Ian Williams who consigns three lots in the sale.
The son of Brazen Beau has been a revelation since the turn of the year and defied a 13lb rise in the weights to win his fourth consecutive race over six furlongs earlier this month.

Milton Harris to appeal
MILTON Harris has lodged an appeal against the decision of the British Horseracing Authority’s Licensing Committee to rule he is not a “fit and proper person” to hold a training licence.
The handler had his licence suspended by the BHA in November pending a hearing in January, with the BHA saying it was “a result of a breach of the conditions on his licence and related matters”.
