MICKY Cleere from Co Tipperary sold one of the top lots at this week’s Osarus Breeze-Up Sale at La Teste de Buch in south-west France.

Selling under M.C. Other Irish vendors involved in the sale included John Bourke’s Hyde Park Stud (sold 10 horses) in Westmeath, Tom and David Brickley of Ard Erin Stud in Coolrain, Co Laois, and Dermot Kilmartin’s Kildallan Farm in Westmeath.
The top-priced lot was €60,000 for a filly by Zelzal. She was purchased by Nicolas de Watrigant of Mandore International and will be trained by Christophe Ferland. De Watrigant also bought the second top lot, a colt by Starspangledbanner, for €56,000 and he joins trainer Simone Brogi.
