GOFFS have revealed the entries for their London Sale in association with Privat 3 Money, which takes place at Kensington Palace Gardens on Monday evening.

Last year’s sale featured jubilant scenes as Bansha House Stables sold Group 3 Marble Hill Stakes winner Givemethebeatboys for a top price of £1.1million.

The Marnane family retained a share in the Jessica Harrington-trained colt, who went on to carry the Bronsan Racing colours to a close fourth in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes.

Another Coventry Stakes contender is a likely highlight on Monday, with the Adrian Keatley-trained Francisco’s Piece already boasting a listed win to his name. The debut winner claimed a listed sprint at Chantilly by two and a half lengths and has smart British form, having finished a short-head behind Wathnan Racing’s private purchase Shadow Army in a Class 2 at York.

Amy Murphy offers a similarly exciting prospect in Rock Hunter, who is under consideration for the Norfolk and Windsor Castle Stakes. A three length debut winner at Chantilly, he finished second on his next two starts in a Royal Ascot Trial and in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown.

Irish entries

The Norfolk Stakes is also the target for Michael O’Callaghan’s smart newcomer Evening Saigon, while Bansha House Stables’ debut winner Rock N Roll Rocket holds an entry in the Windsor Castle Stakes.

Jack Davison brings two to Kensington Palace Gardens, including recent Irish 2000 Guineas fifth and Jersey Stakes contender Take Me To Church. Dermot Weld completes the Irish consignment with Group 3 Hampton Court Stakes contender Taraj.

Successful over a mile, Taraj returned last month with a fine third to Los Angeles in the Derby Trial on his first start over ten furlongs. Australian interests will be familiar with his pedigree, being out of a full-sister to Weld’s dual stakes winner Imaging, who went on to land a Group 2 and place at the highest level for Chris Waller.

High class fillies

It’s a case of quality over quantity in terms of fillies catalogued, headlined by Patrice Coittier’s Group 2 Prix de Sandringham heroine Sparkling Plenty. A full-sister to Group 3 Jersey Stakes winner and Group 1 second Noble Truth, she is a leading contender for the Group 1 Prix de Diane.

Stan Moore offers Group 3 winner Queues Likely with a Sandringham entry, following her runner-up placing in the Group 2 German 1000 Guineas. The other filly entered will also intrigue breeders, as an unraced two-year-old by Kingman, out of the top-class race mare Laurens.

Supplementary entries

Goffs later added four exciting supplementary lots, including unbeaten three-year-old Lazzat. Jerome Reynier’s dual Group 3 winner looks destined for a step up to Group 1 level, with the Lennox and Sussex Stakes possible targets, as well as the Prix Maurice de Gheest. Lazzat is a gelding by Territories.

The Johnny Murtagh-trained Asian Daze is another late addition following her second in the Listed Kooyonga Stakes, with the progressive three-year-old expected to line up in the Sandringham Stakes, a race Murtagh won in 2021 with Create Belief.

Jessica Harrington’s Limerick maiden winner Cruden is without an Ascot entry, while Eric McNamara’s impressive debut winner Raw Ability is entered in the Hampton Court Stakes.

The sale will kick off with the offering of breeding rights to Ardad, Galiway, Havana Grey and Phoenix Of Spain.
