BREEDERS from around the world will take part in a global webinar next Tuesday at noon. All involved in thoroughbred racing and breeding are invited to watch.
Nick Luck will moderate the discussion, which features panellists from six continents, who will discuss how breeders in their regions are combatting the challenges they face. Organised by the International Thoroughbred Breeders’ Federation [ITBF], the event is titled ‘Finding Positive Ways Forward’.
Cathy Grassick, breeder and chairman of the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, will be joined by Hirokazu Okada of Japan’s Big Red Farm, Bret Jones from Airdrie Stud in Kentucky, Alberto Figueiredo of Argentina’s Bonne Chance, Antony Thompson of Widden Stud in Australia and South African owner-breeder Jehan Malherbe.
ITBF chairman Kirsten Rausing of Lanwades Stud and Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, chairman of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, will also make contributions to the discussion.
The event will end with an exclusive screening of Coolmore Stud’s film on City Of Troy, entitled What’s a Heaven For? and presented by Brough Scott.
