ANGLESEY Lodge Equine Hospital is pleased to announce that Juan Francisco Perez Olmos has become a partner in the practice as of January 1st, 2020. Juan has been practicing as a surgeon in Anglesey since January 2017. He joins current partners Mark MacRedmond and Thomas Austin.

Juan started as a veterinary student in Troytown in 1999. He completed an internship and residency in surgery in Troytown and upon completing his residency Juan qualified as a Specialist (Diplomate) Equine Surgeon and stayed at Troytown as an in-house surgeon until the end of 2012.

He then went to Perth for two years where he worked as a surgeon in an equine clinic. In the second half of 2014, Juan went to Saudi Arabia to work in King Abdullah’s farm with thoroughbred and arab horses where he stayed for a year and a half. Juan has been working as a specialist equine surgeon at Anglesey Lodge since 2017.
