THE first in-person Careers Day since 2020 took place recently at CAFRE, Enniskillen and included presentations of bursaries by leading equine companies and other organisations.
As well as trade stands in the exhibition area, the day-long event wasfollowed by tours of the state-of-the-art facilities including active turnout, riding simulators and stable yards.
Some of the biggest racing and breeding establishments including Godolphin, Coolmore and Ballydoyle were on site to give prospective students a chance to talk about career options.
In addition, there were many other leading organisations involved in equestrian sport and breeding sharing careers advice including the Irish Army Mounted Regiment and equine support companies such as feed suppliers and equine therapists.
