With a focus on hands-on learning, Kildalton College offers QQI Level 5 and Level 6 courses in Equitation and Horsemanship – Stud Management. These programs are designed to immerse students in real-world scenarios, ensuring they develop the skills and confidence to transition seamlessly into professional roles. Currently, 60 students are benefiting from this immersive approach, preparing themselves for a dynamic and rewarding career.
Technical precision
Kildalton College boasts state-of-the-art training tools, including a jumping and cross-country simulator and three dressage simulators, which provide students with a safe and controlled environment to refine their skills and enhance their technical precision. Complementing these innovations are top-class facilities, such as 51 stables in American style barns, one indoor and two outdoor arenas, an all-weather cross-country track, a cross-country jumping field, a horse walker, and a solarium, ensuring students have everything they need for a comprehensive equine education, providing a distinct advantage in their development as riders and equine professionals.
Graduates of the Level 6 programs meet the training requirements to become a Young Trained Farmer (Green Cert) opening doors to a variety of career opportunities.
