The Eagala model of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Personal Development is available in over 40 countries around the world and in 10 counties in Ireland. The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (Eagala) is a mental health treatment model incorporating horses who are highly attuned and offer a safe space for clients to discover their answers within themselves.
Using a collaborative approach, the Eagala Model incorporates a licensed Mental Health Professional and a qualified Equine Specialist working together with horses and clients as equal partners in an experiential process that empowers life-changing outcomes.
As a network of practitioners in Ireland we have a number of demonstrations coming up around the country.
All events are free and can be booked through eventbrite.ie.
At each event you will be introduced to the Eagala model and will get first-hand experience of how it works incorporating horses into the therapeutic space. This event is open to the general public. Demonstrations will showcase the model to services and to individuals interested in learning more about this approach.
