More items added to raceday auction

More attractive items have been added to the list of lots to be auctioned at Limerick Races on Sunday, November 8th. The raceday is a fundraiser for Robbie McNamara and the Irish Injured Jockeys.

Among the items to be auctioned is a model of the European team which won the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. One of just 24 such pieces in existence, it is signed by the entire team.

There are visits to many top racing yards on offer including those of Aidan O’Brien (and Coolmore Stud), Jim Bolger, Willie Mullins, Jessica Harrington, Michael Halford and Jonjo O’Neill.

Stalllion nominations to Tagula, Sir Percy, Camacho and Shantou will be offered, and there are VIP days at the races at Newmarket, Royal Ascot and Cheltenham.

Frankie Ward reports that tables for the gala lunch have almost sold out. Donations are also welcome and should be forwarded to Frankie at Adelaide House, Bruff, Co Limerick.
