Amo Racing continues to stock up

OVER the course of the two days a number of taking fillies came up for offer and one of these was a €90,000 daughter of Bungle Inthejungle from Rathasker Stud who will carry the increasingly familiar and successful Amo Racing colours.

This filly is out of an American stakes winner who has already produced the listed-placed Irish two-year-old Lundy.

Overseas owner Montgomery Motto struck for a smart filly from the first crop of U S Navy Flag when his online bid of €82,000 carried the day for the Springfort Park Stud offering. The granddaughter of War Front is a half-sister to the Jersey Stakes third Vadream.

The following day Montgomery Motto and the BBA Ireland’s Eamonn Reilly combined to secure a €65,000 Acclamation filly out of a half-sister to the classy Oh This Is Us.

Lots of Glory

A strong set of results from his first crop of runners in 2021 meant that Cotai Glory was a sire in demand last week and the Exceed And Excel horse’s offerings were headed by a €68,000 filly whom Joe Foley purchased for Clipper Logistics.

From the Flannery family’s Egmont Stud, this filly comes from the family of the Phoenix Stakes second Yara.

Much earlier in the opening session Ross Doyle forked out €62,000 for a daughter of Cotai Glory whose grandam is the Oaks d’Italia winner Menhoubah.

Nick Bradley

Other transactions to take the eye include Nick Bradley giving €72,000 for a daughter of Elzaam from the family of the Group 1-winnning Polydream, while he also spent €55,000 on an Elusive Pimpernel own-sister to Ken Condon’s stakes winner Elusive Beauty.

A trip to next year’s breeze-up sales is on the agenda for a daughter of Siyouni who cost noted breeze-up consignor Katie McGivern €68,000. This filly is out of a winning daughter of Sea The Stars.
