Madam, I just wanted to say what a nice photo that was of Laura Schneider, winner of the advanced open class in the Connolly’s Red Mills AIRC Hunter Trial Championships in last week’s paper.

To see a horse being competed at this level, in a simple snaffle, cavesson noseband and no martingale is so refreshing in this day of gadgets for the sake of gadgets.
