What has been your best moment in racing? When Marling rallied to beat Selkirk in the Sussex Stakes in 1992
What’s your earliest racing memory? Going through the card at Deauville in 1950, albeit to a FF100 stakes (two shillings then!)
Who would you most like to meet? My grandfather – killed when my father was three.
What’s the best book you have read? After The Twelfth by J.K. Stanford
Favourite saying: In racing breed speed to speed.
What’s playing in your car stereo? Unfortunately I’m tone deaf, so usually sport.
