BILLY Lee and Catriona McNabb were able to marry last Saturday in Downpatrick but like a lot of couples plans had to change.
“We have being together for about four and a half years and we had a hotel booked in Belfast to have the wedding reception. But they had to cancel and we went ahead with 25 guests in the church and then a quiet meal in Catriona’s home in Downpatrick,” said Billy.
Catriona has connections to racing through her uncle Russell McNabb.
Guests were family members of the couple and a few friends and Gary Carroll and Ronnie Whelan were waiting outside the church to wish them well.
The couple plan to set up in Billy’s home town Ballingarry, Co Limerick and the house is “getting there”.Good shooting
A FANTASTIC result for equestrian photographer Sinead Ni Riain who has just won the Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association ‘Portrait Photographer of the Year 2020’.
Her prize winning panel included the portrait of No Nay Never, (right) with Sinead paying tribute to the care given to the horses at Coolmore. niriainphotography.com.
