THE much anticipated reopening of the Curragh Racecourse will be enhanced by their ‘under stARTers orders’ creative public arts fundraising initiative, which involves top Irish artists, and all proceeds go to Irish Injured Jockeys and Kildare-based charity Sensational Kids.

Twenty of Ireland’s most distinguished artists have been commissioned and each has a life-size resin horse sculpture that is primed and ready to paint in their unique style.

On completion, all works will be sold and the proceeds will be shared equally between the two charities.

The public will have the chance to view these spectacular works while on public display at various locations from April to June this year.

Plenty of fans are showing a keen interest in getting their hands on one of these exclusive works of art.

A guide price of €10,000 has been put on each piece.

A selection of works will go forward to auction on Friday, June 28th at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby weekend at the Curragh so there is much to look forward to.
