RACETRACKS in Ireland are coming over all musical this summer and the Curragh’s series of music nights, Summer Sounds at the Curragh, include last night June 8th, June 29th and August 31st and combine great racing with live music.
Seo Linn kicked off the three-night series followed on June 29th by 2FM DJ Bláthnaid Treacy.
Seo Linn are an energetic group of young musicians who burst onto the Irish music scene with not only powerful original songs, but also their unique takes on contemporary tracks with the injection of their passion for Gaeilge.

Roll up for the Donkey Derby
MICHAEL Duggan has been in touch with a very important date for your diary, Friday June 22nd when the Spancilhill Donkey Derby will be held on the eve of the annual horse fair which has been going on for close to 400 years.
It’s a family fun evening with all sorts of activities for children, face painting, musical bicycles and sack racing included.
The Donkey Derby aims to start at 6.30 in the middle cross roads of the village so you can’t miss it.
