In sports news, congratulations to Brian Hughes on being Champion Jump Jockey. IMO (don’t shout) it is the least flukiest title in sport. 12 months of solid graft and you get the living shit kicked out of you along the way. Bit of their attitude required now too #resilient

I suspect the whole season might be in jeopardy. How can we have the Royal meeting without the Guineas and Derby before. And all the 2yo races without maiden races ran before. The only hope is for this thing to finish. And somewhat reschedule the whole season. But not that easy.

Traditionalists are going to have to accept that some races are going to be lost and some combined. There’s a chance to create a super competitive, interesting programme if #racingpeople aren’t too stuck in the mud.
