12.50 Casey Concrete Blocks Maiden Hurdle 2m 4f
Dewcup could take plenty of beating on the form he showed in bumpers last season. He accounted for several subsequent winners when scoring on his second outing at Thurles in March and then showed up very well when taking fourth in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree.
He should be at least as good over hurdles and can see off the filly Domitian who looked like one who would appreciate longer trips when finishing second in a Tipperary bumper in May before getting off the mark at Clonmel the following month.
Gabbys Cross is interesting having looked a nice prospect when landing a Monksgrange point-to-point in the spring.

1.25 Casey Tarmacadam Mares Hurdle 2m 4f
This looks a good opportunity for Surin to register her second success over timber. She was a very smart juvenile last term when her form was headed by a third to Sir Erec in a Leopardstown Grade 1 and she should improve a good deal from Gowran earlier this month when she was second to Western Victory.
She made a couple of very bad mistakes during that race and would have been closer only for those. A longer trip and a first time tongue tie can help and she should be able to deal with the hurdling newcomer Uisce Solas who won bumpers at this track and Tipperary earlier this year.
SELECTION: SURIN

2.00 Casey Cattle Slats Maiden Hurdle 2m 150yds
Dancing On My Own is hard to look past as he turned in two very good efforts behind Klassical Dream last season which have earned him a rating of 140. It was disappointing that he got beaten on his return at Galway in the summer when fourth to Diamond Hill in a two-mile, five-furlong maiden, but this trip should suit better. Diamond Hill has since won a listed race on the flat and the second and third from Galway were both successful next time out.
He could have most to fear from Conflated who progressed on two solid placed runs to defeat Sneaky Getaway in a Clonmel bumper in March. That form points to him making up into a useful hurdler.

2.35 Casey Concrete Gorey Handicap Hurdle (80-95) 3m
A speculative vote goes to Each Way who is making her handicap debut. She is put forward in the hope that the step up to this distance will work in her favour; her most recent fourth in a maiden at this track in June represented a step in the right direction. The third from that race won a handicap next time.
Herbiegoesbananas has been unable to justify favouritism on his last three outings but was only beaten three and a half lengths by Balgowlah at Downpatrick last time and a similar effort would give him every chance.

3.10 Casey Bros Beginners Chase 2m 4f
Ego Des Mottes appeals as a likely winner even though he lacks chasing experience. He was beaten at odds-on when second to Military Hill in a Galway maiden hurdle in September but but did better at Punchestown last week when third to Beacon Edge in quite a reasonable looking maiden. That last effort would suggest that he will be able to win races and he may progress after just two runs in these parts.
First Class Return was beaten 17 lengths by Golazo at Tramore last week but would have been much closer only for coming to a standstill with a last-fence mistake. He may emerge as the pick of the remainder.

3.45 Casey Precast Handicap Chase 2m 4f
Burning Ambition turns his attention to open company. He has been among the best hunter chasers for the last couple of seasons, as evidenced by his second to Top Wood at Aintree in April, and can make up into a high-class handicap chaser at this sort of trip. He is tipped in the hope that he can defy a 177-day absence.
Roxboro Road is open to improvement in this sphere after just four previous runs over fences which took in a victory at Leopardstown in the spring. He should be all the better for a recent comeback at Gowran.

4.20 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares (Pro/Am) Flat Race 2m
Infinite Glory looks capable of winning a race like this and lines up off a creditable showing at Tramore where she was beaten one and three-quarter lengths into second by Silk Worm. That effort gives her every chance and she is preferred to the eye-catching newcomer Ten Allin who is a half-sister to Cheltenian.
Miss Cedile should be kept in mind after a respectable showing at Punchestown last week.
