Going to the Ward Union point with my mother and father

How did you get involved with horses?

There were always horses and ponies at home.

Who was your first winner?

My first winner was on the track for Stuart Crawford. My first point-to-point winner was for Liam Lennon on I’m An Izz Wizz at Loughbrickland.

How do you relax outside of horses?

I don’t do much really. Watch box sets on Netflix, Game of Thrones and The Waking Dead would be two.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Very laid back.

Do you have any things that annoy you?

I really hate being late.

Who is your biggest supporter?

My family and my brother Ger and girlfriend Eleri.

Is there anything that terrifies you?

Jellyfish. I’ve come across a few on holidays.

What’s your worst habit?

Sorry, I’m quite indecisive!

What’s the best advice you have been given?.

If you don’t succeed at first, keep trying.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

I’ve three things I would like. To ride more winners. For Gordon Elliott to win the trainers’ title and for Ourmanmassini to be champion pointer.

Who do you think will win the Grand National?

I hope Raz De Maree wins for Gavin Cromwell with my brother Ger on him or if not Ucello Conti because my girlfriend looks after him.
