Alison Corr
What is your earliest point-to-point memory?
I rode a winner on my Dad’s horse in Newry.
How did you get involved with racing?
Just through my dad and Brian Hamilton. I grew up around a yard basically. It’s always been racing for me.
How do you relax outside of horses?
I don’t really. I just ride horses constantly. Point-to-points every weekend.
I work in Brian’s most summers but I’d like to do something different this year! I might join a flat yard.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Relaxed, laid back and easy going.
What is your worst habit?
I don’t have any bad habits I think. Eating too much?
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I hate anything being dirty. I like everything clean.
If you could learn one skill, what would it be?
Chef. I’d love to learn how to cook! I probably would do it if horses didn’t work out. I love eating.
What advice would you give to your 10-year-old self?
Stay away from horses!
What terrifies you?
Flying.
Who is your biggest supporter?
Probably my brother Donal.
