1.42 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden 5f
Of the two with experience, Slaney View is the obvious choice, having run green when second at the Curragh on debut.
The sharply-bred Baby Basma benefits from Colin Keane aboard. His trainer enjoyed stakes success with Ardenode as a juvenile and that sprinter’s half-brother Salacious is worth a look for Josh Halley.
The freshman sires of Itsnotme and Star Reign are already off the mark at stud, and the latter’s pedigree is particularly appealing, being out of a half-sister to Kyllachy. Jack Davison has had two juveniles placed already, making Sup Of Red of interest.
SELECTION: SLANEY VIEW

Likedbymike impressed over course and distance when last seen. Passing Phase was second to her that day, beaten four and a quarter lengths but, with today’s weights and a run under his belt, Jessica Harrington’s charge could turn the tables.
Smoke Them Out’s course win has fared well, with the runner-up going close at stakes level, but that came over six furlongs. Five furlongs may also be a bit sharp for Bodhi Bear, but could see Unexpected Issues reproduce the promise of her debut win, when she had Heavens Gate in second

2.52 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden 5f
A maiden win appears overdue for Saratoga Special, who ran well on all her previous starts, each of them over the minimum trip, and once at listed level.
Bobbi Rosa ran her best race over course and distance here, finishing second to Magnum Force, who later won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.
Far Above Dream outran his odds in a Curragh maiden last time out, and the form has strengthened since, with the winner running well and the runner-up winning next time. Newcomer Morally Sound has a pedigree to match his price tag of €200,000. Hello Silas was withdrawn from the Craven Breeze-Up Sale last year but getting into that sale reads well and his sire made a promising start at stud. Lil’Angel is speedily-bred and is Colin Keane’s choice of Lyons’ pair.
SELECTION: SARATOGA SPECIAL

King Cuan was a talented juvenile, but having spent last year on the sidelines, has a significant absence to overcome. It’s something that last year’s winner, Easy, overcame, but that was on heavy ground. Lightly-raced and reportedly injury-plagued, there are question marks around her, if not regarding her talent.
The trip may be the issue for the returning Chicago Critic and Vespertilio, but may help One Smack Mac bounce back to the promise he showed in his first two starts, which came over six furlongs on good ground.
Ostraka may have needed the run on return and the progressive sprinter should make a bolder show today.

Jessica Harrington has four chances and stable jockey Shane Foley opts for Comic Book, who has earned a stakes win after three fine efforts last season. Stablemate Sea The Boss was a Group 3 winner over shorter, and though unsuccessful over this trip in a Group 1, is bred to stay.
Madam Celeste got close to her that day and shaped like a step up in trip would suit on her following start, when finishing strongly after a troubled passage. Outclassed in Group 1s, this looks more her level.
Bubble Gum is an intriguing addition to Paddy Twomey’s string. Sixth in the Prix de Diane last season, her pedigree suggests she’ll get this trip.
The Hayes/Weld combination is enjoying a fine run, but Elizabeth Jane seems to save her best for heavy ground.
SELECTION: COMIC BOOK

4.32 Dine In Our Panoramic Restaurant Handicap 7f
Iceford ran on well on his three-year-old return last month, suggesting this trip will suit. His mark looks fair and drier ground may bring further improvement.
Just Before’s mark also looks workable, having raced against some classy rivals last season. Back at this trip, she should run a fine race. Scott Key is appealing on handicap debut, having run a respectable race in a strong Curragh maiden when last seen.
A winter break and gelding operation may see him take a step forward today. Green Icon, in contrast, may have been overestimated in the ratings, considering the two races he won have produced little of note.
SELECTION: ICEFORD

Temperance looked to have a strong chance off a low weight in a premier handicap last month, but was withdrawn due to the going. Today’s ground will suit this promising filly, who is bred to get seven furlongs.
Bella Isabella finished second to a smart filly last time out, but was still beaten five and a half lengths and her remaining rivals were uninspiring.
Ms Olivia didn’t live up to strong market support on debut at Dundalk in February, but if she reproduces what she’d shown at home today, should figure prominently.
Mittens, Noi and Sapphire Princess are particularly well-bred and are worth a market check.
