2.30 RACING TV MAIDEN HURDLE 2M 140yds
Cosmo’s Moon had decent placed form over hurdles for his previous yard and ran equally as well on his recent debut for Noel Meade.
The six-year-old is entitled to come on from that first outing in almost a year, so should be primed for a big run now. The Meade stable do particularly well at this venue and can add another winner here.
Roll Again proved slightly disappointing in bumpers but could do better now faced with a set of hurdles. Willie Mullins has to be respected with anything that he runs and it would come as no great surprise to see this horse leave his previous efforts behind.
SELECTION: COSMO’S MOON

3.05 ADARE MANOR OPPORTUNITY HANDICAP HURDLE 2M 3F 105yds
Rathbride Prince should be good enough to win this modest affair. Padraig Roche has made a very pleasing start to his training career and can make the journey from the Curragh worthwhile.
This four-year-old caught the eye staying on nicely in a much better race at Naas last time, a reproduction of which would surely be sufficient.
Isharah also brings useful recent form to the table, having been placed at Fairyhouse last time. Noel Kelly is sure to have his charge ready for his local assignment and a big run can be expected.
SELECTION: RATHBRIDE PRINCE

3.40 FRENCH VILLAGE NOVICE HANDICAP HURDLE 2M 5F 130yds
Goose Man should prove difficult to beat, as trainer Tom Taaffe continues to exploit his lenient hurdles mark. The son of Gold Well is already rated 17lbs higher over fences but is no slouch over flights either. He beat a subsequent winner on his latest start at Navan and looked to have plenty in hand on that occasion. It will be a surprise if he can’t follow up.
The Long Mile makes his handicap debut here, having hinted at ability in his maidens. He certainly has the scope to develop into a nice staying hurdler but may find the Taaffe runner too strong at this stage of his career.
SELECTION: GOOSE MAN

4.15 NORTH DOWN MARQUEES RATED NOVICE CHASE 2m 3f 140yds
Mill Quest faces no easy task giving weight away to all her rivals but may be capable of doing so. About the best of this field over hurdles, she has far more chasing experience than any of these, something that could prove crucial. On the best of her runs over fences she is entitled to go close.
Crossed My Mind was listed placed over hurdles and could yet make the grade over fences. He has had very few chances to show what he is capable of, so it would come as no surprise if he stepped up on previous form now.
SELECTION: MILL QUEST

4.50 BARONERACING.COM CHASE 3M 2F 50yds
Mala Beach should be good enough to win this race for the second year in succession. Gordon Elliott’s runner is a top-class chaser on his day, as evidenced by carrying top-weight to victory in the Troytown Chase. He would have needed his recent comeback outing over hurdles at Gowran Park and this race is sure to have been his target.
Jury Duty, a stablemate of the selection, returns to the track for the first time since winning a Grade 1 chase in the US. He is well capable of putting in a big run but the concession of 10lbs to Mala Beach may just prove beyond him.
SELECTION: MALA BEACH
Next Best: Jury Duty
5.25 REMUS UOMO HUNTERS CHASE 2M 3F 140yds
Burning Ambition is worth another chance to show his true colours having disappointed favourite backers last time. Pierce Power’s eight-year-old was sent off at odds-on for that point-to-point at Belharbour but trailed in third. He is better than that bare form and can set the record straight here.
Sidetracked has won both completed outings for his new trainer this season, including the aforementioned Belharbour point-to-point. He is an exciting young horse to look forward to this year and will pose a serious threat to Burning Ambition here.
SELECTION: BURNING AMBITION
Next best: Sidetracked
6.00 REMUS UOMO MARES INH FLAT RACE 2M 140yds
Papal Pearl ran a huge race on her debut at Navan, looking a likely winner until meeting the stiff hill. At was a big ask for a four-year-old on that occasion but she acquitted herself with plenty of credit. The easier track will be very much in her favour now and she can stalk the leaders before quickening up close home.
Pont Aval merits respect as the Willie Mullins candidate in the line up. She has been placed in both starts to date and it won’t take a lot for her to get her head in front. This isn’t the strongest of races so she is greatly feared.
SELECTION: PAPAL PEARL
