Getaway Katie finished a good third at Cork on her previous run and she gets all the allowances as a four-year-old filly in what doesn’t look the strongest race. Cluan Dara has finished second in two similar races to this this on his previous two starts while Midnight Stroll showed promise in bumpers before disappointing on his hurdles debut - behind Cluan Dara at Gowran Park.
Connections of Princess Lara and Dom Dolo, both making their debuts, may be each disappointed if they can’t at least be at the business end of this race. Dom Dolo is an interesting French bred running in the colours of Barry Connell but preference is for Princess Lara, who is a half sister to the very good Apache Stronghold, and runs in the same Patricia Hunt all pink silks.
Selection: PRINCESS LARA
Next best: Dom Dolo

There may not be much between Calino D’Airy and Don’t Tell No One. The former, trained by Henry de Bromhead, comes here off a course-and-distance win in which he beat subsequent winner Close Shave and another of his rivals here Uaintseennothingyet. That looks rock solid form for this race and should see him start favourite.
John Kiely’s Don’t Tell No One is another who has excellent form at Galway where his figures read 132. However he has been running over further than this and he may not be as effective coming back to this trip 2m 2f trip. That said, he beat the very useful Miss Eyecatcher on his previous run, form that reads very well now and it may be worth taking a chance he handles this sharper trip.
Selection: DON’T TELL NO ONE

Don’t Kick Nor Bite will have his supporters after his Sligo win and he has the scope to improve further. However Henry de Bromhead’s Show And Go showed a good level of form to get very close to Presenting Mahler over this course and distance on his previous run and a similar effort would see him tough to beat.
Concordin won on his previous run over fences but has to overcome a long layoff and while Crocodile Dundee has won his previous two, but scrambled home on his most recent start and will need to improve further to make it a hat-trick
Selection: SHOW AND GO

Lucky Pass makes a belated debut for the Gordon Elliott stable having moved from Willie Mullins’s yard in the big Gigginstown switch last year but then not running at all last season. He was previously a smart bumper sort, winning at Leopardstown and Fairyhouse, and he undoubtedly has potential now over hurdles. He may just need this run for fitness, after a 670-day layoff.
Noel Meade’s Laverteen is a decent alternative. He made a satisfactory debut over hurdles when third to another useful bumper sort West Coast Time at Gowran Park.
Selection: LAVERTEEN

This is a disappointing nine-runner line-up for a race worth €26,500. Prospectus may be able to take advantage for Gavin Cromwell. The four-year-old gelding made his seasonal debut at Listowel where he ran well behind the progressive On The Go Again. He has since ran well twice on the flat, including at this track and although he might be better off over further, he should have a big say.
John Ryan is represented by Kylecrue and Draycott Place. The worry for the former is the trip - he has never raced over two miles - but that is no such concern for Draycott Place. Danny Mullins’ mount finished a good third to Persistent over this course and distance and then finished in the same position in a Grade B handicap chase at Cork. He comes here in good heart and should run well.
Selection: PROSPECTUS
Next best: Draycott Place

This looks wide open and the betting should reflect that. While it will be no surprise to see the likes of in-form horses Iusetaluvheronce and Oskar High towards the top of the market, they will be vulnerable to a number of potential big improvers.
It might be worth taking a chance on either Wild Desire or Grandma Dotty, two unexposed horses who ran well on their previous runs and are open to improvement now. Slight preference is for the latter, Paul Nolan’s four-year-old filly, who comes in at the foot of the weights, with all the allowances she will receive.
Selection: WILD DESIRE
Next best: Grandma Dotty

Monstrosity showed up well on his debut behind Summerville Boy at Killarney, in what was probably a good race given the winner was subsequently sold to Britain and the second Suncroft, won on his next start.
Gun Digger is a Gigginstown Stud-owned five-year-old making his debut for Gordon Elliott and so deserves obvious respect.
