THERE are two British challengers in the Group 1 Champions Mile at Sha Tin tomorrow morning (9am) as Ed Walker’s Stormy Antarctic (the mount of Karis Teetan) and Sir Michael Stoute’s Convey (Olivier Peslier) take on local champion the Hong Derby winner Rapper Dragon (Joao Moreira) who bids for five wins in a row.

Helene Dragon also represents trainer John Moore.

Mark Westgate, assistant to trainer Sir Michael Stoute, said of Convey: “He’s had a brilliant week, taken it all in his stride.

“We were happy with his work this morning, the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle and he’s ready to rumble.”

In the Group 1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize over six furlongs (9.40), Joao Moreira teams up with new sprint star Mr Stunning as he goes for four wins in a row taking on regular Group 1 performers Aerovelocity, Lucky Bubbles and Peniaphobia.
