There are several newcomers to assess in the opener at Leopardstown but, of the entrants with form, Puppetshow warrants most respect. She finished a very close up fourth at Naas on her debut, behind Wayside Flower, and should benefit from that run.

Another to watch is Ribbons’N’Roses, who is stepping up in trip after three runs over 5f. Tempera was fourth behind Aneed at the Curragh recently and should improve. Of the debutantes, watch for markets moves for Asking, Dime A Dance, Full Suit, Pavlenko and Yulong Baokui.

Selection: PUPPETSHOW

Orderofthegarter was second to subsequent Goodwood Group 2 winner War Decree at Leopardstown in June and should have the ability to land this event. Cascavelle may give him most to do. The heavy ground at Listowel got the better of him but, on this better ground, he’ll be involved in the shake-up. Fior Cliste faded at Navan over a mile but the drop back in trip should bring out his best.

Pipes Of Peace has had three runs, including over C&D last week but probably needs good ground. Invincible Ryker was third on his debut at Naas behind Spirit Of Valour over 6f and could get involved here.

Meanwhile, newcomers to watch for market moves are Bringthehousedown, Casanair and Sharoze.

Most of this field have genuine chances. Joyce Compton is back over her optimum distance after flopping over 5f but might be more effective on better ground.

Elusive Beauty has plenty of good placed efforts to her name over trips from 5f to 7.5f and was a Fairyhouse winner in June. Elizabeth Browning is another well-exposed type but may be better suited by shorter trip.

Teo’s Music, in first-time blinkers, and Hyzenthlay, in first-time cheekpieces, will be helped by the addition of their headgear. Shes Ranger won her maiden well at Dundalk two weeks after a decent debut on the all-weather.

Althiba has been hitting the post with a few good placed runs while Dinky Inty, twice a winner over 6f in September, didn’t appear to handle the all-weather surface at Dundalk. Tentative preference goes to Delegating, who was dropped a couple of pounds for finishing third behind She’s Ranger.

A repeat of her Galway second on similar ground would see her bang there, and jockey Sean Davis and his claim will be a big help from the saddle.

British raider Sovereign Debt appears to have conditions in his favour and is the one to beat. He’s a Doncaster Stakes winner on his latest outing and has C&D form on similar ground. Final Frontier was a Group 3 winner at the Curragh in July and will run another big race.

Flight Risk has only won twice, but one of those was a Curragh Group 3 in 2015 and he will appreciate the drop in class. Downforce was a Tipperary winner on his most recent start, while Blue De Vega has had no run since finishing down the field in a Group 3 at Ascot in June.

Rose De Pierre progressed nicely over her first three races culminating in a capture of a listed race at Cork. Master Speaker always runs a big race but may find one or two too good for him today. Bebhinn, already a listed winner, could run a big race.

Aidan O’Brien trains four of the field and it should present a good opportunity for Bound to get some winning blacktype.

She won’t mind a bit of juice in the ground and was second in a similar event at the Curragh three weeks ago. The only doubt may be her ability to stay the 9f. O’Brien’s other filly in the race, Butterflies, who beat Bound at Gowran in July, should run another good race, while the Dermot Weld-trained filly Queen Anne’s Lace should be involved at the finish too. Galilean and Saltonstall are both recent winners but others are preferred.

Selection: BOUND

An ultra-competitive renewal of the feature. The Joseph O’Brien-trained Cradle Mountain has been running consistently well in handicap hurdles lately and finished a close-up second to Laws in the Cesarewitch at the Curragh three weeks ago. He’ll be involved at the finish.

Willie Mullins has booked stylish 10lb claimer Danny Sheehy for top-weight Renneti and the Naas winner will be a big player. Royal Ascot winner Jennies Jewel will be a major contender, while Snow Falcon won twice in succession at Roscommon and Listowel before fading near the finish at Fairyhouse last month. He’ll strip fresher today.

The trio of British raiders Guard Of Honour, Nakeeta and Magic Circle all deserve consideration, as do hat-trick seeking Roconga and the Tony Martin-trained Artful Artist.

Another competitive handicap on the final day of the Leopardstown flat season. Dalton Highway was raised plenty for winning at Fairyhouse latest meeting and will need a big run to be competitive here. Jacobs Well will be fit after plenty of runs over the past few weeks.

However, it may pay to take a chance with handicap debutante Nanabad, who may have some improvement up her sleeve after taking a Gowran maiden on soft to heavy ground. Dragon Fei is capable of a big run, as is Jaqen H’Ghar and top-weight Castle Guest.

Selection: NANABAD

Bay Of Biscay holds a rating of 87 and was second on his latest start, to Vigil at Navan. A repeat of that performance should be enough to claim this prize.

Creme De La has had plenty of opportunities but always runs a consistent race and will be thereabouts. Flaming Sea was second on her debut, to Wild As The Wind at the Curragh, and normal improvement from that outing could earn some place money. Hamley had her first run in a year at Dundalk last week and will definitely feel the benefit of that.

Another well-exposed type is Waitaki and another consistent effort is expected. Maladh, a Willie McCreery newcomer, is bred to get a mile and is one to be watched.

Selection: BAY OF BISCAY
