2:10 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF (C & G) MAIDEN 1M 50YDS

The pick of those that have run might just be the Ger Lyons-trained Chenega Bay. The son of Kodiac shaped with promise when fifth of 16 in a seven-furlong maiden at Gowran Park earlier this month and with this sounder surface seeming sure to suit him, he could well improve enough from that experience to go close in this. Of the newcomers, the Jim Bolger-trained Salthouse catches the eye, being out of the smart racemare Sugarhoneybaby and having realised €140,000 as a foal.

Selection: CHENEGA BAY

Next Best: Salthouse

2:40 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF FILLIES MAIDEN 1M 50YDS

While many of David Wachman’s representatives have been needing their first run of the season, a chance is taken with his Back On Top. The daughter of Lope De Vega ran very well in both her starts last year, most recently finishing a close third to two future Group 1 winners in Found and Together Forever with recent listed winner Bocca Baciata back in fourth. If she can run to that sort of level here, she will take all the beating. The newcomer that immediately catches the eye is the Aidan O’Brien-trained Kissed By Angels, with the daughter of Galileo being the first foal out of the top-class racemare Lillie Langtry.

Selection: BACK ON TOP

3:10 DUBLIN GOSPEL CHOIR LIVE AT LIMERICK RACECOURSE ON 6TH JUNE MAIDEN 1M 50YDS

The Jane Foley-trained Torpedo Alley should be up to running well. The four-year-old has shown promise in all of his starts to date and this quick turf surface promises to suit him very well following a couple of solid efforts on the all-weather at Dundalk. The pick of the newcomers looks to be the John Oxx-trained Ripples Effect, with the son of Sea The Stars having realised 340,000gns as a foal.

Selection: TORPEDO ALLEY

Next Best: Ripples Effect

3:45 MIKE DENVER LIVE AT LIMERICK RACECOURSE ON 23RD JULY HANDICAP 1M 50YDS

Competitive fare and marginal preference is given to the Tommy Stack-trained Salariaq. The daughter of Daaher won a maiden at Gowran Park last year and made a satisfactory return at this track earlier this month. This firmer surface will very much suit and could well improve her enough to see her win this. The best of the rest looks to be the Paul Deegan-trained Yes I Am following his good effort at Leopardstown last time.

Selection: SALARIAQ

Next Best: Yes I Am

4:20 MARTIN MOLONY STAKES (LISTED) 1M 4F 110YDS

The one that makes the most appeal is the Jim Bolger-trained Answered. Despite an injury-interrupted campaign, he still managed to win in listed company at Leopardstown in October. This longer trip promises to suit and any rain that arrives will only help his cause. His main danger looks to be the Ger Lyons-trained Roheryn, with the daughter of Galileo having won a listed race at Leopardstown in June.

Selection: ANSWERED

Next Best: Roheryn

4:50 IRISHINJUREDJOCKEYS.COM HANDICAP (47-70) 1M 3F 70YDS

No shortage of potential improvers here, but without the benefit of seeing the better market, preference is given to the Kieran Purcell-trained Oiche Mhaith Boy. The son of Alhaarth made a fine return to action when a head second to Never Again and he has always shaped as though this longer trip and sounder surface would suit him. While his draw is far from ideal, he has Pat Smullen at his service and should go close. Another one that makes appeal is the David Wachman-trained Extreme Appeal following his solid second to Ringside Humour at Leopardstown last time.

Selection: OICHE MHAITH BOY

Next Best: Extreme Appeal

5:25 RACING AGAIN AT LIMERICK RACECOURSE ON 17TH MAY HANDICAP (47-65) 1M 3F 70YDS

The Mick Halford-trained Temasek Star looks the one to side with. The son of Soviet Star shaped with promise on his return to action at Gowran Park and seems sure to appreciate this longer trip. He is well drawn and any rain will be a help to him. Of the rest, the Eoin Doyle-trained Breenainthemycra shaped well at Navan last time and could well be suited by this shorter trip.

Selection: TEMASEK STAR

Next Best: Breenainthemycra
