Queen Of Ours
(W. McCreery)
This Kodiac filly made an encouraging start to her career when contesting the fillies’ maiden won by Mauiewowie last Saturday. The winner of this race looked very smart and the runner-up boasted strong placed form which makes this filly’s five and a quarter lengths third a solid effort. She finished nicely clear of the remainder and should improve plenty for this run which would indicate a maiden triumph won’t be long in coming her way.

Young Ireland
(J.S. Bolger)
A son of New Approach out of a half-sister to Soldier Of Fortune, he went off at 50/1 for the maiden won by Auguste Rodin and belied his starting price to be beaten just over two lengths into third.
This represented a fine effort in a decent looking maiden and, while he is competing in a particularly strong division, he looks a colt of considerable interest for the second half of the season.

Rotolo
(W.T. Farrell)
She did not go ignored in the betting for her handicap debut in a three-year-old only 10-furlong contest and shaped nicely to be beaten just half a length into second by the previous winner Heather Bear. There is more to come from this daughter of Slade Power and her turn will not be long in coming.

Presenting Lad
(M. McNiff)
He won a handicap hurdle at Roscommon last month and ran fine race in his bid for a follow up success when finding only the well backed Petrol Head too strong. On his four outings this season he has shown a solid level of form and this latest effort would point to his capacity to win again this summer.

All In The Mind
(P.J. Flynn)
A Tipperary maiden winner in May and second in a Derby Weekend handicap, this three-year-old had to settle for fourth in a handicap won by Ha Ha Ha.
However, he enjoyed no luck in running and could have given the winner plenty to do with a smooth passage. It shouldn’t be long before he is adding to his tally.
