THE Irish Racehorse Trainers Association again supplied the winning team in the recent golf classic in aid of the Drogheda Memorial Fund.
A total of 28 teams took part in the event and afterwards trainers Mouse Morris, Conor O’Dwyer, Jim Gorman and David Marnane received the Pat Smullen Cup from Frances Crowley.
The Drogheda Memorial Fund is a registered charity, which helps current and former trainers and jockeys who have fallen on hard times.
David Power, the former bookmaker who died this week, was an active member of the Drogheda Memorial Fund committee until recently.
