Stallion Trail 2025 confirmed
THE ITM Irish Stallion Trail will be held on Friday and Saturday, January 10th and 11th next year. The Trail offers the opportunity for breeders, racing professionals, and racing fans to get up close at over 30 of Ireland’s stallion farms.
A completely free event, visitors are simply asked to register which studs they intend to visit via the ITM website. Studs wishing to participate should contact Alex Cairns at acairns@itm.ie or call 087 791 5690.

Veterinary event in Lyrath Estate
THE Irish Equine Veterinary Association will host a networking evening at the Lyrath Estate in Co Kilkenny on Thursday, November 28th. Sponsored by Connolly’s Red Mills and supported by industry stakeholders, the event will start at 6.30pm and feature contributions from IEVA president Sabrina Barnwell, Nicole Groyer of Connolly’s Red Mills, Niamh Lewis from UCD’s School of Veterinary Medicine, David Beehan from the Department of Agriculture, Jennie Henderson of Ballylinch Stud and Alan Creighton of the Irish Equine Centre.

New meeting at Tipperary
TIPPERARY will stage an additional jumps fixture next Friday, November 22nd. Entries close on Monday at noon. This week Thurles lost a third straight meeting due to unsuitable ground.
Irish EBF sponsors Navan card
THE Irish European Breeders Fund will sponsor all seven races at Navan on Sunday, December 15th. The total prize money on offer for the day will be €145,000.
The card was designed in conjunction with Horse Racing Ireland with the mid-division rated horse in mind, boosting prize money attached in this category. There will be six handicaps, each worth €20,000, and a €25,000 listed winners’ bumper.
