A RECORD 154 entries have been received for the Tattersalls Online November Sale which takes place next Wednesday and Thursday. The catalogue includes 86 horses in/out of training, 27 yearlings, 23 broodmares, eight foals, three point-to-pointers and seven breeding rights. A breeding right to leading sire Havana Grey is one of the highlights.
The 23 broodmares catalogued are headed by proven blacktype producer Washington Blue, offered in foal to the multiple Group 1 producing sire Starspangledbanner.

Marie’s Diamond to stud in Meath
MARIE’S Diamond will stand at Ciarán de Barra’s Diamond Stud in Bellewstown, Co Meath, next year. The seven-year-old son of Footstepsinthesand raced 65 times over five seasons for trainers Mark and Charlie Johnston, winning seven times. Owned by Middleham Park Racing, he registered his biggest success at the Curragh where he won the Group 3 Anglesey Stakes as a juvenile. He also finished second in the Group 2 Railway Stakes and Group 2 Richmond Stakes that year.
New recruit for Knockhouse Stud
SEAN and Janet Kinsella has acquired the Galileo horse Amhran Na Bhfiann for stallion duties at Knockhouse Stud in Kilmacow, Co Kilkenny. Bred by Lodge Park Stud, the six-year-old is out of Alluring Park and therefore a full-brother to Oaks winner Was. He cost 1.3 million guineas as a yearling and, trained by Aidan O’Brien, finished third in the Derby when still a maiden. He later won the Group 2 Curragh Cup.
Fairyhouse races next Friday
FOLLOWING the cancellation of last Tuesday’s fixture due to waterlogging, Fairyhouse will stage a replacement National Hunt meeting next Friday, November 24th. Entries close on Monday.
