Stewards’ inquiries
RYAN Moore was suspended for two days for careless riding in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes as he allowed Auguste Rodin to drift right-handed without correction when insufficiently clear of Royal Rhyme, placed fifth, ridden by Clifford Lee, causing Lee to take a check.
Coeur D’Or was picked out by Ruby Walsh on the ITV analysis as suffering an unlucky run in the Royal Hunt Cup but an inquiry was held into interference on the run to the line when Coeur D’Or, (sixth) and Chris Hayes, interfered with King’s Code ridden by Silvestre de Sousa.
Hayes was suspended for two days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction and when insufficiently clear taking King’s Code off its intended line, causing de Sousa to ease shortly before the line.
