Sibyl Charm appears to have been found an ideal opportunity to make a winning debut for new connections. The daughter of Charm Spirit was just denied at Naas last August in a race that has worked out well. Having been sold in the interim, she now makes her first start for Joseph O’Brien in what looks a winnable maiden. Despite a slight concern about the testing conditions, she is by a stallion who himself had winning form on heavy ground.
You Send Me stayed on nicely when fifth over a mile at the Curragh on her sole start at two. Although dropping back a furlong now, she should be better equipped than most if this turns into a stamina test.

Heartrate can shed his maiden tag at the fifth time of asking. The Kieran Cotter-trained gelding is a consistent sort who has been placed in his last three starts. Fit from a winter campaign at Dundalk, he showed that he handles testing conditions when second over five furlongs at this venue last September. Well drawn for a prominent runner, he should take plenty of pegging back.
Something Nice belied odds of 40/1 when runner-up at the Curragh on his reappearance. Gary Carroll takes over in the saddle now, with the gelding having been ridden by an apprentice last time.

Aussie Girl travelled well at the Curragh last time but ultimately weakened after racing keenly. Connections have opted to fit a first-time hood and if that aid helps her to settle better she should hold leading claims. Joey Sheridan takes 3lbs off her back on her first start in handicap company, another factor that adds to the appeal.
Coco Hill is an interesting contender on his first start for Micky Fenton. The former Group 1-winning jockey has only had a handful of runners to date but could well have a live contender here.

Spanish Tenor should be sharper now having run very well when fourth on his seasonal debut at Naas. The Ado McGuinness-trained veteran handles testing ground and having won over further, he will have no stamina issues over this trip. Well enough drawn for one likely to race up with the pace, he could prove a difficult horse to pass in the latter stages.
All Lies Ahead holds obvious claims having won at Leopardstown during the week. The Willie McCreery-trained mare arrives here at the top of her game but she does have something to find with Spanish Tenor on their Gowran running from last June.

Dual Group 1 winner Tenebrism should prove too strong for the opposition as she takes a drop down in class. The former Cheveley Park Stakes winner was quite understandably campaigned over a mile in her classic year but is bred to be a sprinter. Now that connections can focus on training her to do what comes more naturally, she has the potential to develop into a leading performer this season.
Moss Tucker is a worthy opponent, having improved throughout last year. The Ken Condon-trained gelding, who easily landed a listed race at the Curragh on heavy ground in his final start of the campaign, could easily progress again this term.

Sturlasson should be difficult to beat having had the benefit of previous racecourse experience. The son of Invincible Army shaped with plenty of promise on his Curragh debut when only finding one too strong.
Unsuited by his low draw on that occasion, he shouldn’t have that problem now in a much smaller field. Expect to see him bounce out and make all.
Alabama is to be a serious threat given connections. In previous years, the Aidan O’Brien juveniles tended to need their initial outings but that certainly wasn’t the case last term. While lacking the vital experience of the Cotter colt, Alabama could quite literally be anything.

Screen Siren should be capable of a bold showing here with plenty in her favour. A former course and distance winner, the Sarah Lynam-trained mare handles testing ground, is well drawn on the stands side rail and should lack for nothing in terms of fitness, after a recent outing at Dundalk. This race has most likely been her target for some time and everything points to a big run.
Craft Irish is largely unexposed in handicap company so remains open to improvement this season. The daughter of Adaay beat Screen Siren at the Curragh in October and there is unlikely to be much between the pair once again now.
SELECTION: SCREEN SIREN

Beaumadier improved for the switch to turf and fitting of a hood when showing vastly improved form at Naas last time. The Kuroshio gelding made much of the running, appearing to have his rivals in trouble at one stage.
Although unable to sustain the gallop, he kept on well once headed, eventually finishing fourth. Dropped back to the minimum trip here, he is well drawn just off the rail.
Greek Flower has shown enough ability to suggest she can be competitive in a race such as this. The John Feane-trained filly started her career over a mile at this venue but has looked a sprinter in her more recent starts. The experience she has acquired could prove very beneficial racing against some debutants and less exposed runners.
