2.00 Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle 2m 160yds
This race is somewhat complicated with a number of likely contenders set to take their chances in various races on Friday evening.
Teed Up (a close second on Friday), Nibiru (fifth) and Unanswered all have decent prospects and enthusiasm in their chances would increase on the back of a good run here last night.
However, a tentative vote goes to Listentillitellyea. He ran a fine race here on Monday evening when losing out by just a nose to Darkened and he meets the opponent on 2lb better terms.
That might just be enough to tip things in his favour as Darkened turns out for the third time this week, having shown up well only to be beaten just over 1 length into fourth by Star Image on Thursday.
SELECTION: LISTENTILLITELLYEAR
Next best: Darkened
2.30 Kenny Galway Handicap Hurdle 3m 60yds
Rebellious Gale might be worth taking a chance on. After showing ability in maiden hurdles, he came good on his fourth handicap start when defeating Dalileo by 2¾l in a 2m 6f handicap hurdle at Limerick in May, an effort which earned him a 7lb rise in the ratings.
He was a beaten favourite over fences at Tipperary last time but was dropping down dramatically in trip for his first outing in almost two months and he can be expected to do much better over today’s trip.
Perceval Legallois has plenty of weight for his first handicap. He has picked up plenty of experience in his various maiden hurdle outings and showed some useful form prior to getting off the mark at Wexford at the start of the month. He should give a good account of himself. Summer Tide is interesting as he looks to build on a third to Magnor Glory at Killarney.
SELECTION: REBELLIOUS GALE
Next best: Perceval Legallois

Provided his Galway Plate exertions haven’t taken too much out of him, Battleoverdoyen might be able to repeat last year’s victory in this race. This nine-year-old isn’t quite the force of old but he is still capable of some very useful form and he did show up well to finish a 10l fifth to Hewick in Wednesday’s Plate.
It is worth noting that he did run unplaced in last year’s Plate prior to winning this race and he does have a good record at this track.
Agusta Gold hasn’t been at her best lately and finished down the field in the Midlands National last time. She did run quite well in a similar race to this at Down Royal in March and should give a good account of herself if back to that form.
Politesse is interesting as she looks to build on a handicap chase victory off a mark of 128 at Roscommon just over six weeks ago.
SELECTION: BATTLEOVERDOYEN
Next best: Agusta Gold
3.40 Lord Hemphill Memorial Handicap Chase 2m 2f 54yds
Zarkareva can improve on last year’s third in this race which she achieved off a 7lbs lower mark than the one she runs off here.
She lines up off a two months break and her most recent outing yielded a second to Espoin Du Chenet at Punchestown in a reasonable 2m handicap chase. The step-up to this trip will suit Henry de Bromhead’s charge and can enable her to reverse form with her Punchestown conqueror.
Cornerkova was already in charge of a handicap chase at Tipperary two weeks ago when the last fence fall of her nearest pursuer enabled her to record a winning margin of 75l. This assignment will be a good deal tougher but she appeals as being able to run well.
Russian Diamond probably has more to offer as a chaser but it is a slight concern that he has fallen on his last two visits here.
SELECTION: ZARKAREVA
Next best: Cornerkova
4.10 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Ahonoora Handicap 7f
An unprecedented hat-trick of wins in this race could ensue for Current Option who is now 8lbs lower than when bagging this race a year ago.
The six-year-old hasn’t been at his best this term but he made a notable return to form in Tuesday’s Colm Quinn Mile when finishing a fine fourth to Magic Chegaga where he was beaten just over 2l.
That effort would suggest a strong showing is on the cards and he can see off his classy stablemate Casanova who has put together a string of fine efforts in top handicaps, the most recent of which yielded a second to Magic Chegaga here on Tuesday.
He has a good draw to aid his cause and he has developed into a reliable performer over a variety of trips.
On A Session has been placed in the last three renewals of this race and is not one to discount.
SELECTION: CURRENT OPTION
Next best: Casanova
4.40 Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden 7f
Karaoke was beaten at odds-on when making her debut at Gowran Park last weekend. However, she still ran a creditable race to finish a ½l behind Thebestisyettobe.
The benefit of that initial experience should stand her in good stead and she might progress sufficiently off that first run to score here.
She’s Local improved from her first run to be beaten just under 3l into fourth by Ma Belle Artiste in a maiden at Leopardstown last week. That effort makes her a contender.
Red Letter Bray ran quite a nice race in a smart looking maiden at Naas on his debut, finishing sixth to Auguste Rodin and warrants respect while Wild Rover should appreciate moving up to this trip.
SELECTION: KARAOKE
Next best: She’s Local
5.10 Ireland West Airport Handicap (50-80) 1m 73yds
This could see Lady Arwen strike on her second appearance of the week. She produced a fine effort on Monday evening when beaten just over 1l into third by Dairerin in a 7f handicap. She is moving up slightly in trip but the manner in which she finished out her race on Monday would indicate that will not be a problem. Any easing in the ground over the weekend will work in her favour.
Believe In Science could be interesting. She contested a useful three-year-old handicap here on Wednesday when finishing seventh behind Sir Antonino. On that occasion she did shape better than the final result and it was her first outing since April so there could be plenty of improvement to come from her.
SELECTION: LADY ARWEN
Next best: Believe In Science

Marine Nationale looked a smart type when he made a winning debut in a Punchestown bumper two months ago. The manner of his victory that day was quite taking and among his vanquished opponents was Spread Boss Ted who was beaten just over 6l into fourth and has since won a bumper at Kilbeggan.
Patrick Mullins has sided with No Risk No Fun ahead of Spread Boss Ted and the champion amateur’s mount looks a threat. He looked a good sort when bolting up in a Wexford bumper two months ago. That win was achieved over 2m 4f but he should cope with this shorter trip.
This Songisforyou, who made a winning debut here on Monday, is another likely contender.
SELECTION: MARINE NATIONALE
