2.15 John Lynch Memorial Maiden Hurdle 2m

She doesn’t bring a massive level of flat form to the table given her official mark of 75 but Korea, who cost €50,000 at Arqana in November, commands obvious respect for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend.

A winner on heavy ground over a mile and a half when last seen 327 days ago, she shouldn’t have any issue with an ease underfoot here and doesn’t look to be in the deepest of contests for her hurdling/stable debut.

Kazakh d’Arthel is an interesting French recruit for Gavin Cromwell, joining this team privately after finishing third in a mile-and-a-half AQPS race, beaten three lengths then. The winner joined Willie Mullins for €140,000 afterwards and hasn’t been seen since, while the runner-up has been safely held in his first two runs since joining Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero.

SELECTION: KOREA

2.50 Allman Contracts Novice Hurdle 2m 4f

Representing the same connections as this week’s Liam Healy Memorial Lartigue Hurdle winner, Donnie Devito could well make it three wins on the bounce after a maiden hurdle victory at Punchestown and novice success at the Galway Festival. He might have a slight question to answer on soft ground, as he’s been effective on better surfaces lately, but he looks progressive.

Paul Townend prefers My Great Mate over Where’s My Jet. This is clearly more competitive than the Sligo contest he won last time but he’s 5lb better off with Donnie Devito than when finishing half a length behind him at Galway.

SELECTION: DONNIE DEVITO

Next best: My Great Mate

3.25 M.J. Carroll ARRO Handicap Hurdle 2m 4f

With Eric McNamara already having a stellar time at a meeting he targets every year, Thegraveyardbookie could be worth taking a chance on despite the 191-day absence since disappointing at Cork. He likely wouldn’t want to see the ground drying out - being a Limerick Christmas Festival winner on heavy - but he races off a lovely weight of 10st 6lb and isn’t exposed.

Cases can be made for a few of these, including Ballywilliam Boy, who didn’t have the race unfold entirely to suit when third here on Thursday. Toto Too and Champella are entitled to be on the premises too.

SELECTION: THEGRAVEYARDBOOKIE

Next best: Ballywilliam Boy

3.55 Kathleen Walsh Memorial Handicap Hurdle 2m 2f

Could this be the day for Cosmic Rock to get back on winning tracks? He won this race in 2021 and the 10-year-old ran encouragingly enough when third at Limerick in April on his last start. Trained locally by Eoin McCarthy, this may well have been the plan with him and he’s proven as effective in these conditions.

Dgalwaygallivantor doesn’t appear to be ground-dependent on the evidence of his win over fences at Downpatrick last time and comes here in fine form. Toon Town isn’t out of it either.

SELECTION: COSMIC ROCK

4.30 Charlie Chute Memorial Handicap Chase 2m 6f

Stepping back up in trip looks just what the doctor ordered for Slane Hill, who wasn’t disgraced over short of his best when fourth at Wexford last time. He isn’t overly exposed, has form on different types of ground and is at the right end of the weights off 10st 9lb.

Walnut Beach comes here in cracking form and must overcome an 8lb hike for his latest Killarney success. Law Ella is interesting if sharp enough after 219 days off, so could be worth a market check. Good Time Jonny got his eye in back over fences here on Thursday when third and needs to improve, but he’s got an engine when bringing his ‘A’ game to the table.

SELECTION: SLANE HILL

Next best: Good Time Jonny

5.05 John & Terry Moriarty

Memorial (Q.R.) Handicap Chase 3m

It’s tough to row in behind Robinstown with great conviction after tailing off in a claiming hurdle last time but that came on good to yielding ground over two miles and three furlongs, and if conditions are more testing here over further, he’ll be well suited to this. Rob James is a good booking for a race like this and Cian Collins would surely love a winner at a track near his homeplace.

Avec Espoir ran his rivals ragged over hurdles at Ballinrobe last time and is still in good heart at the age of 11. C’est Quelqu’un is another who would appreciate a cut in the ground after pulling up on good ground at Downpatrick last time.

SELECTION: ROBINSTOWN

Next best: C’est Quelqu’un

5.40 Listowel Printing Works Slan Abhaile (Pro/Am) Flat Race 2m

Despite the bare form of what he ran to at Bellewstown not being spectacular, Addragoole has put two solid enough runs together to begin his career - second in a bumper last time and filling the same position in a Down Royal maiden hurdle in March on his only other appearance.

Previous winners Windbeneathmywings, Not Now Darling and Black Heather are entitled to be bang there, while Heads Up is a €40,000 store purchase by Blue Bresil who is worth keeping an eye on in the market.

SELECTION: ADDRAGOOLE

Next best: Heads Up
