Flash The Cash can shed her maiden tag at the fourth attempt. The Jessica Harrington-trained filly improved on her debut effort when third at Navan on her penultimate start. Having run well for a long way in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot latest, she will appreciate the drop back to this grade. 

The Willie McCreery-trained Lunigiana made a very pleasing debut at Cork last month when staying on late to finish runner-up to a potential stakes filly.

With the benefit of that experience the daughter of Mehmas looks a leading contender here.

Red Evolution has to concede weight to his rivals but might be capable of doing so.

Michael O’Callaghan’s Mehmas colt shaped really well on his debut when third at the Curragh in a race that has worked out well subsequently.

He again did little wrong when just touched off in similar company at Naas last time. 

Alfred Tennyson was behind Red Evolution in that latter race but should get much closer on this occasion.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt should appreciate the additional furlong, while he is now in receipt of 2lb.

Having run well in a stronger race at the Curragh last time, Run Forrest Run should appreciate this easier task.

The Micky Fenton-trained gelding seldom runs a bad race in this grade and has the able assistance of Scott McCullagh. Provided he is drawn on the favoured side the six-year-old should go very close. 

Lady Daar is one that might be capable of improvement having just her second start in a handicap.

Gavin Cromwell’s three-year-old was well supported over five furlongs at Down Royal last month but found that trip too sharp before keeping on late.

Stepping up an additional furlong here looks in her favour.

Course and distance winner Tai Tam Bay can add a second career success at her favoured track. Having won here on her fourth last start, she followed that up with a solid third at the same venue next time. The daughter of New Bay ran better than her final placing suggests when third at the Curragh latest. Magical Vision, another Naas specialist who has twice won over course and distance, has to rate a big danger. Aidan Howard’s mare looked better than ever when winning her latest start at the Curragh back in April.

4.30 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden 7f 

Mano Chicago showed enough when third on his racecourse debut at Gowran Park to suggest he can win his maiden. The Johnny Murtagh-trained Study Of Man colt kept on well once the penny dropped inside the final furlong. He should be all the better for that experience and has to be a leading contender. 

Nyman, who finished two places behind Mano Chicago at Gowran, has every chance of reversing that form. Henry de Bromhead’s colt, who was also having his first start, stayed on under hands and heels to finish a never nearer fifth.

Chicago Fireball can complete the hat-trick for Johnny Murtagh and Ben Coen. Having travelled strongly when making all over a mile to win his previous two starts, the Acclamation gelding gives the impression that he should be even better suited to seven furlongs. He gets the chance to test that theory in this five-runner affair. 

The Aidan O’Brien trained Democracy was somewhat unlucky in running when third in a similar grade at Fairyhouse last time. With the winner going on to win a premier handicap on Irish Derby weekend, that particular form looks even stronger now.

Empress Alma has shaped well enough on her first two outings in handicap company to suggest she can win in this grade. Slowly away when running on late at Gowran Park on her penultimate start, the Gavin Cromwell-trained filly again caught the eye when fifth at Limerick on her most recent run. 

Best Law was well supported when a beaten favourite at Leopardstown on his latest outing. The fact his trainer has retained a gelding rated just 61 suggests that the Aclaim gelding must be showing more at home than he has brought to the track to date.
