2.03 Peter Queally Memorial Maiden Hurdle 2m 140y
A smart handicapper on the flat, the Willie Mullins-trained Immelmann can make a winning debut over hurdles.
The six-year-old should be all the sharper now having had a prep run on the level at the Galway Festival. Provided he takes to jumping, the son of Adlerflug should be hard to beat.
Getawiggleon has steadily improved with each outing over hurdles. The Michael Hourigan-trained mare, who has a handicap mark of 107 after five starts, sets a fair standard.
SELECTION: IMMELMANN

2.33 Frank Gillane Memorial Handicap Hurdle 2m 140y
A dual winner over fences at this track, Mater Matuta has to be of interest off her lower hurdles mark. The eight-year-old, who is rated 16lb lower in this discipline, ran well over flights last time when finishing third behind a well handicapped rival. It would be no surprise to see her add another course win to her record.
Sayitfirst ran her best race in some time when only weakening late on at Kilbeggan last time. A reproduction of that effort would probably be good enough to see the mare take a hand in what is arguably a weaker race.
SELECTION: MATER MATUTA
Next best: Sayitfirst
3.03 Tramore Amusements Maiden Hurdle 2m 5f 80y
Runner-up over three miles at Wexford last time, Marv Michael should appreciate dropping back in trip. The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding raced prominently but weakened from two out. First-time cheekpieces could also prove beneficial to the six-year-old son of Westerner.
Where’s Nanny, a bumper winner at this track last October on her sole appearance to date, could be a danger if ready after an absence. Although apparently her stable second string on jockey bookings, the Walk In The Park mare shouldn’t be discounted.
SELECTION: MARV MICHAEL
Next best: Where’s Nanny
3.33 Victoria House Tramore Mares Beginners Chase 2m 6f
Although a beaten favourite on her recent chasing debut at Wexford, Space Tourist looks the most likely winner. Stepping back up to this trip, over which she won a Mares Listed Hurdle at Limerick in October, should really suit the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old. A bumper winner at this track in 2022, she should have no issues on that score.
Miss Tempo has a bit to find on hurdles form but has more chasing experience than the majority of her rivals. Third in a handicap chase on her most recent start, that is certain to stand to her now back in against novices of her own sex.
SELECTION: SPACE TOURIST
Next best: Miss Tempo
4.03 McCarthy’s Irish Bar Lexington Handicap Chase 2m 6f
Garde Le Peche catches the eye here being one of the few lightly-raced unexposed horses in the race.
A former point-to-point winner, the Henry de Bromhead-trained mare made a winning debut over fences at Clonmel in June before finishing runner-up on her handicap debut last time.
Tullyveery Lad was a long way behind the selection at Clonmel but jumped poorly in that race. A winner at Downpatrick on his previous start, the Ray Cody-trained gelding enters calculations in a race where few appear to hold strong claims.
SELECTION: GARDE LE PECHE
Next best: Tullyveery Lad
4.33 Heinz Pollmeier Memorial Handicap Chase 1m 7f 140y
A winner over course and distance last October, Itsalonglongroad arrives here in excellent form having landed a handicap on the flat at Sligo last time. As a solid jumping front runner, this tight right-handed track suits his style of racing. Aidan Kelly takes off a valuable 5lb which should make all the difference in the closing stages.
Falcon Park overcame a serious mistake at the last fence when winning here recently. Although now 9lb higher, the Emmet Mullins-trained gelding remains largely unexposed as a chaser.
SELECTION: ITSALONGLONGROAD
Next best: Falcon Park
5.03 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares INH Flat Race 2m 140y
A beaten favourite on both starts under rules to date, El Fabienne might be capable of better. Runner-up on her sole point-to-point start last April, the Willie Mullins-trained mare has yet to show her true ability since switching to the track.
Perhaps the application of a first-time tongue tie will see the daughter of Spanish Moon in a better light.
Stablemate Marie’s March, a half-sister to three blacktype horses looks best of the newcomers. While jockey bookings suggest that she may be second string, it would be no surprise if she were to run a big race on debut.
SELECTION: EL FABIENNE
Next best: Marie’s March
