MULLINGAR Equestrian, in conjunction with the Youngster Tour, will host their Online Select Auction on Friday, April 8th. Bidding opens on Monday and closes next Friday for the Lots forward.
The horses are aged from four to eight years old and upwards, with DAFM-approved passports.
Declan Fagan of Mullingar Equestrian Sales said: "The aim of the auction is to meet the demand from pro-am and professional riders for genuine horses that have been carefully produced through the Youngster Tour (or will be suitable for the 2022 tour) and be capable of rising through the levels in showjumping and/or eventing."
Nominated horses were pre-viewed by members of the selection panel at a number of Winter Tour and Spring League events in February and March before undergoing final selection at Mullingar Equestrian Centre on March 22nd last.
"We are delighted with the line up for the first Future Stars Select Online Auction. All the horses have been very well produced by their owners and riders. The common traits they all have is that they are a genuine bunch, they are all very willing, and they have plenty of ability to go and do a very good job for their new owners, at a variety of levels.
"If you are looking for a horse suitable for the Tours, a young rider horse to be competitive, a high end Amateur-Owner horse or a Grand Prix horse, we have horses to suit you. All catalogued horses will be present for viewing on sale day at Mullingar Equestrian Centre. Horses will jump a course of fences between 2-4pm. The performance will be livestreamed," said Declan Fagan of MEC.
The catalogue has a cross-section from 90cm to 1.30m and potential Grand Prix horses to suit a variety of riders (More details on www.mullingarequestrian.com)
