EVER progressive, the Mayo Roscommon Breeders’ Group is hosting their inaugural Select Online Sale of Three- and Four-Year-Old Show Jumping and Event Horses with bidding open from Thursday to Sunday, September 10th - 13th next.

Next week’s online sale will signify the culmination of months of strategy development and planning work by the group to establish a new and online marketing initiative via their new online platform, The Irish Horse Centre (www.irishhorsecentre.auction). The Irish Horse Centre primarily aims to connect the international market directly with leading Irish breeders and producers right across the island of Ireland.

To deliver the online sales service, the Mayo Roscommon Breeders’ Group has partnered with the experienced Belgian-based online marketing and sales company PWEB Solutions, who are providing the group with the platform and marketing services to enable an international marketing reach and online bidding for both physical and fully online sales.

The same business philosophy has been adopted from the group’s annual flagship sale – The Breeders Select Foal Sale Ireland – which features 74 foals of show jumping and eventing pedigrees on October 10th at Glenamaddy Equestrian Centre. The group’s primary objectives are:-

  • Implement a clear and transparent selection process.
  • Increase international marketing and promotion.
  • Develop an international customer base.
  • First online auction

The Mayo Roscommon Breeders’ Group’s first fully online auction, via the Irish Horse Centre (www.irishhorsecentre.auction), will officially open for bidding to the international market on Thursday, September 10th at 5pm. It will present 18 carefully selected three and four-year-old young horses suitable for eventing and show jumping and it will close to online bidding on Sunday, September 13th at 8pm.
