ALEX and Ben Connors did the OLS Sporthorses team proud with two outstanding performances at the Cornbury House Horse Trials with two home-breds recently.

Alex won the packed CCI-S J2* class with OLS King Aragon after adding just 0.4 for time to a standout dressage score of 28.5, and brother Ben was seventh with a super double clear on OLS Queen Bee, finishing on 35.3.

Finished on dressage score

Alex and OLS King Aragon (by Samgemjee out of Just Beauty Queen), owned by her mother Michelle Nelson and father Kieran Connors, were lying second after dressage to Lucy Standish, who scored 28.1 but did not fare so well in the jumping phases.

Ben and OLS Queen Bee (by Luidam out of Just Beauty Queen) were one of only 10 combinations to finish on their dressage score, with time across the country a problem for many.
