More than 60 horse and rider combinations contested six different classes.

The primary, advanced primary and sportsman classes were judged on optimum time and honours in the primary class went to Old Mill’s Chris Carter and The Biscuit Club. First place in the advanced primary went to Padraic Fennessy and Azara from Rathfarnham Riding Club, ahead of Colman Larkin and Shadow from Moyglare Riding Club.

In the sportsmans class, open to riders graded intermediate and above, the winners were Millie and Ann Benson from Abbeylands.

The intermediate class was, as always, a very competitive one and top honours here went to Greenhills member Olwyn Butler and her grey mare Santero. Ger Monaghan and What You Like took second in this class for Winterdown Riding Club.

Consistent performers Victoria Neiser and Master Darcy took first place for Abbeylands in the advanced intermediate class, ahead of Michelle Brannigan and Toome Cruising Jimmy from Moyglare.

In the open class, league leader Pauline Costello and Camalau Z earned another red rosette for Abbeylands, while second place went to Samantha Grace Doyle and Thumbelina Flight from the host club Calliaghstown.
