THE latest FEI Longines rankings have been released and there are no changes at the top of the international show jumping table. Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) maintains his lead for yet another month with a total of 3,381 points, with Swiss athlete Steve Guerdat in second (3,134 points) and USA’s Kent Farrington now in third (3,038 points), after swopping places with Britain’s Ben Maher (2,992 points), who now lies fourth. Martin Fuchs (SUI) remains in fifth place on 2,888 points.
There are currently four Irish riders in the top 20, with Conor Swail the best of these in 12th place on 2,580 points, followed by Cian O’Connor in 14th (2,495). Shane Sweetnam (17th) and Darragh Kenny (18th) both retain their placings from last month, on 2,448 and 2,411 points respectively.
In the Longines League of Nations ranking, Ireland has lost its lead to the USA, who now sit top of the table with 13,787 points, with Ireland in second on 13,564. Germany (12,941), France (12,799) and Belgium (12,421) currently fill the third, fourth and fifth spots.
Meanwhile, in the Under 25 rankings, Tom Wachman has jumped from 14th place last month to ninth on 1,288 points, with Harry Allen slipping slightly from 11th place to 13th on 1,240.
In Eventing, Austin O’Connor continues to be the best of the Irish in 22nd place on 273 points.
In Para Dressage Grade I, Michael Murphy retains his sixth place on 1,766 points, while Jessica McKenna remains in 10th place in Grade III on 1,351.
