THE Irish Pony Club has again been invited to send a dressage team to compete in the UK Pony Club home international on the Friday of the Royal Windsor Horse Show (May 15th to 18th) and is now seeking applications from members.
The team of five will comprise one UK PC Novice level rider (equivalent to Dressage Ireland Preliminary), two UK PC Intermediate level riders (DI Novice) and two UK PC Open level riders (DI Elementary). Members interested in being selected should video themselves riding the relevant test/s on the animal/s they intend to compete. The videos will be assessed by an independent listed DI judge. The closing time and date for submissions to CGP Equestrian is 23.59 on Thursday, March 6th.
The IPC will also be represented at Royal Windsor by a mounted games team, who had a first trials day last Sunday at Barnadown, where they have a second tomorrow. Training will be held at the Co Wexford venue on the first four Sundays in March.
