CASSANDRA Morris left Mullingar happier than most last weekend as she, along with Niamh Macken, Nina Reinhold Molloy and Tracy Murphy, won the senior team competition for the Midland and Western Region.
Morris was also the recipient of the Harper-Hewitt Trophy presented to the member of Para Equestrian Ireland, Para or able bodied, who scored the highest percentage in any test over the Winter and National finals.
In her Preliminary DI18 test last weekend, Category 2 rider Morris scored 74.38% on her seven-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Lots Of Joy. Morris was presented with a €75 goodie bag from TRI Equestrian who also sponsored prizes for the runner-up Roma Oakes and the third-placed Kate Kerr-Horan.
