THE dam of Frenchman Simon Delestre’s team bronze medal-winning horse I Amelusina R 51 is currently continuing her breeding career in Kilnaboy, Co Clare, with Patrick McCormack.

B.Amelusina R22 (Chin Chin) has bred other top horses including The Freshman, who is jumping 1.60m in Canada and Kilnaboy Captain (Namelus R), who is jumping 1.40m. McCormack has bred five Irish Sport Horses for the mare, including Kilnaboy Kannan (Kannan) who, owned by John Healy, jumped up to 1.30m before an injury and now stands at stud.

At the age of 23, she is still breeding and has a lovely colt foal by Diamant de Semilly this year.
