JUDY Reynolds is relocating from her yard in Dorsten, Germany to base her business 24km away at Johann Hinnemann’s stable in Krüsterhof, having previously spent three years at the yard earlier in her career.
The Kildare Olympian has been in great form of late with For Fun, Faisao and Rockman Royal, recently becoming the first Irish rider ever to achieve both the FEI European dressage championships minimum eligibility requirement (MER) qualification criteria (66% twice from the ground jury and from two different FEI level four/five-star ground jury members) and the FEI Paris 2024 Olympic Games MER qualification criteria (67% twice from the ground jury and from two different FEI level four/five-star ground jury members) with the three horses.
Trained by Hinnemann, former Irish dressage High Performance manager, she will now take over the ride on more of his horses following the exit of German Grand Prix rider Stefanie Wolf from his stable in January.
Reynolds confirmed to Eurodressage that she would be relocating at some stage this month. “I am moving my yard to Krüsterhof. I will base my horses and clients’ horses there. It works well as I am riding Rockman Royal for Johann already and the move will allow me to take on more visiting students for training as well as grow overall.
“We hope to move in June. I am very looking forward to it as I was based there full-time for a number of years up until 2012 so it is a bit like going home.”
