CONGRATULATIONS to Aimee Barry, winner of the David O’Connor Memorial Medal at the UCD Sports Awards. Aimee is a final year Veterinary Medicine student and member of the UCD Equestrian Club.

Aimee has had numerous successes over the past year with her mare Garryndruig Limoncello - she won the Showjumping Ireland Autumn Grand Prix, two events at the Cavan Horse Show, the Grand Prix in Banteer and the jump-off challenge at Cavan’s November Winter Festival.

Aimee was also the GAIN/The Irish Field Star of the Month for November, 2023.

Aimee is currently working up to compete at International Grand Prix level.

The award was presented by the Dean and Head of the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine, Prof Rory Breathnach.
