IHWT launches lotto

THE Irish Horse Welfare Trust has launched a weekly lotto. The fully licensed lotto aims to support the trust as well as allow people to have fun playing. You can sign up to play for €2 a week or three lines for €5 weekly. There is a small cash prize weekly which builds up to a jackpot and the first jackpot took place on October 7th when players had a chance to win €1,000. Ballymacads hosting charity trek

THE Ballymacad Foxhounds are hosting a charity trek in aid of the Cavan/Meath Palliative Care fund on Sunday, October 17th at 1pm in Oldcastle, Co Meath. The cost of entry for adults is €30 and €20 for children. All are welcome to support the great cause.
