PETER McHugh, from Hollymount, was a proud owner at Ballina, where his Moylough Supremacy two-year-old gelding, shown by Pat Ruane (pictured) won last Sunday.
80-something-year-old Peter has one dream project he’d like to see realised, in having a monument to Philip Heenan and Clover Hill placed at Ardcroney, near the famous Ringroe yard.
“I won’t die happy until that goes ahead. I’ve talked to a lot of horsey people and they’d be more than willing to help,” said the former customer and good friend of the late stallion master.
